Nebraska Wesleyan coming to IIAC
NWU hasn't played a Division III opponent in football since 2002 but will jump back in in full force in the fall of 2016 when the Prairie Wolves join the Iowa Conference.

NWU gives up NAIA status, will join IIAC
Nebraska Wesleyan, the lone remaining dual member of the NAIA and NCAA Division III, is giving up its NAIA affiliation effective July 2016 and joining the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference that fall.

Nick Weisheipl has been hired as Cabrini's first baseball head it was announced by college officials. The first baseball season, the College's 17th intercollegiate sport, will begin in spring 2017.
