All four teams from the 2012 women's lacrosse national semifinals return for 2013 as top seeds Trinity (Conn.), Cortland State, Middlebury and Salisbury will play again for Walnut and Bronze.
Trinity, the defending champion, has won 28 consecutive games overall and 59 of its last 61 games.

Middlebury will meet Salisbury for the second straight year in the NCAA semifinals, while Trinity and Cortland will also meet for the second consecutive time. A year ago, the Sea Gulls earned a 15-7 win over the Panthers at Montclair State, while Trinity beat Cortland 7-5 and went on to beat Salisbury in the final.
Salisbury's 8-6 win against Franklin and Marshall in the quarterfinals was by far its closest game of the season. The Sea Gulls have won all of their other games by six goals or more.
No. 4 Cortland State advance with an 11-0 run against Bowdoin in the national quarterfinals, beating the Polar Bears 14-4. The Red Dragons are making their third straight appearance and fourth overall in the final four and face defending champion Trinity, a 12-7 winner vs. TCNJ, in the national semifinals. The Bantams outscored the Lions, 8-2, over the final 44:33 of a 12-7 victory.
