"Wabash has been one of the premier programs in the Midwest for some time, so we use our performance against them as a measuring stick (of where we are at). The beginning of our schedule was and is quite a challenge for us, but it was set up that way. In that regard, we felt the team approached it well (at Michigan State in the opener) with some younger guys getting wins over Division I competition. The only way we can grow is to be in tough matches against top-flight opponents, so the guys can apply what we've taught them and see what they need to work on for down the road." … The Black and close out their pre-Thanksgiving break schedule Thursday, Nov. 16, traveling to Adrian College for dual competition.
