(NJCUGothicKnights.com) | Montclair State University (23-9, 9-5 NJAC) moved into third place in the New Jersey Athletic Conference standings, sweeping a twice postponed NJAC doubleheader from the New Jersey City University softball team (4-26, 0-14 NJAC) on April 22 at the MSU Softball Stadium. The Red Hawks won game one, 8-1, before taking the nightcap in five innings, 17-0.

The Garnet bounced back with a 7-3 decision in game two to earn a split in a Centennial Conference softball doubleheader at Bobby Jones Field Sunday.
