Baruch Blanks Farmingdale State (2-0)

The visiting Baruch College Bearcats scored early and late to defeat the Rams from Farmingdale State College, 2-0, on a humid Wednesday afternoon in Farmingdale, New York.

Frank Iacovano scored in the second minute, on a shot from the corner of the box that was assisted by Adonis Martinez, to stun the hosts for the quick 1-0 lead.

The two teams went back-and-forth the rest of the match. The Bearcats at times found themselves defending hard with the Rams owning a 14-7 shot advantage.

Shaiem Allah Morad finally put the match away with six minutes left off another assist by Martinez for the eventual 2-0 score line.

Kellen Sela came up big with seven saves to post his first clean sheet of 2019.

Alex Castano led Farmingdale from the Skyline Conference with three shots in their home opener loss.
