3. UW-Oshkosh 64
4. UW-Eau Claire 32
5. Lynchburg 30
6. Central 28
7. Geneseo 27
8. WashU 19.5

T10. John Carroll 15

The 75 points from the Profs were enough to edge out defending champion UW-La Crosse (74 points) by just one point in second, while UW-Oshkosh (64 points) finished third.

The Profs won with a big boost from Seth Clevenger, who won the national title in two events: the 3000 meters, in which he set a meet record, and the 5000 meters.

Clevenger's wins led to protests from the other top finishers in each of the two events, where they declined to be photographed with him. Clevenger, a transfer from Division I Iowa State, has been dogged by doping allegations from his time at the institution. Published reports regarding his alleged use of a banned substance appeared to be the source of a statement from Rowan University which was issued "regarding a student-athlete's prior participation at another institution," and did not comment further.

In other competition, Rajahn Dixon captured the 200 meters by the slimmest of margins, as his time of 20.92 edged out Oshkosh's Dylan Doss (20.93) by 0.01 seconds. Dixon's time also sets a program record and is the No. 2 fastest all-time in Division III.

The duo gives the Profs its sixth and seventh respective individual indoor champions as well.

The team will return to Glassboro with a team championship, three individual titles, and a total of 13 All-Americans.

This marks Rowan's sixth team title at the NCAA Track & Field championships, as the Profs won the outdoor championship in five consecutive years (1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984).

UW-La Crosse has finished in the top five in 38 of a possible 39 indoor national championships. They were led in part by Carter Pearson, who won his first national title in the triple jump with a 49 foot, 3 inch mark. Collin Conzemius won the 400-meter run with a time of 46.76 seconds. In addition, the 4x400 relay team of Conzemius, Chase Doornink, Devin Williams and Andrew Hackbarth broke the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship and school record to win a national title, with a time of 3:10.90.
